We get the feeling we could all use a little more help getting organized so we’re dedicating the month of May to sharing organizing ideas in different areas of our lives!
What’s your system for organizing kid’s homework/important papers?

I have an inbox on my desk for those papers that need to be looked at, filled out, or dealt with. In my file drawer of my desk I have a file folder labeled for each child. This is where I put any papers, art work, certificates, etc that are to be kept for scrapbooks or memory books. At the end of each school year these folders are emptied into big manila envelopes marked with the child’s name and school year and are moved into my attic where they are stored. I got this idea from a lady at church years ago and have found that it works for me. I have been able to access these labeled folders easily when needed to add to scrap books, or find something in particular.
