My sister-in-law Nancy. There aren’t too many people that have gone through what she has in this life; losing the love of her life when she was 30, with three children under 8. One of them has numerous special needs as well. She continues to become stronger and wiser…doing it all with grace and joy! A true inspiration to not just women, but nearly every one that knows her.

My friend Claudi…she was diagnosed with MS AND Parkinson’s several years ago and still strives to do all that she is able to do…quilt, make hand made cards, walk her dogs…she is my inspiration!

Thanks, Leigh Anne. My dear friend Beth was kidnapped off the playground by her mother back in 1939 (when she was just 5). She never saw her father again til she graduated from high school. Her life has been filled with so much sadness–two divorces,a grandson in prison, a daughter-in-law passed away last Easter, a daughter in law who couldn’t get pregnant, two divorces, having to go on oxygen, and now fighting breast cancer. Yet, I do not know anyone who is more positive. When we needed to raise money last year for my son-in-law she was the first to volunteer. She went to all the businesses and got donations, dragging her oxygen unit and sick from chemo. She had a dream of the dress she was supposed to make for my wedding. Not only did she make this dress, but she made matching ones for the 4 grand daughters. She kept telling me I could survive the high waves and would get stronger–she was right. This world is much better because Beth is here!
